Program Description

The Pharmacy Technician Program is designed to provide students with the knowledge needed to assist licensed pharmacists in providing medications and other non-prescription products. Upon completion of this program, students will be able to assist a pharmacist by counting tablets and preparing labels for the prescriptions while verifying that the information is correct, updating patient files, filing insurance claims, and taking inventory of medications.
